What if!

Post by Beamish »

I am a bit bored so I got to thinking.......
If you had 10K and had to buy two bikes one road, and one off road what would you buy?
I decided after much deliberation that it would be (obviously keeping the Storm)
1. Honda CRF450 http://powersports.honda.com/motorcycle ... d=CRF450X8
2. Triumph Street Triple (in black)

Aprilia RSVR Factory

Honda CR250

As I wouldn't buy either new, I can afford both for 10k and get absolute minters with low mileage, probably even from a dealer.

im not sure ! its been stood for 2 years, the owner said he had to jump start it as can be expected but it started no problem once connected to a working battery.
if its a complete shed i will just throw it back on ebay and should easily get my money back, but its cheap and not far from me so its worth a shot.
it will be a little winter project for me because apart from bar risers the storm needs absoloutely nothing doing to it.

What about the New KTM RC8
I doubt you could get it for 10k but it might be worth a look

Looks very interesting, it should be less than 10K if it is to compete with Aprilia RSV and SP2

Just give me 10K!
I'd keep storm but will trick it to unrecognizable level and buy new BMW GS800.
Or - I'd buy new Hornet 1000R and BMW GS800.

Oh, I need more than 10K please!

And if GS800 would not fit I'd buy new Yamaha Tenere 2008 for offroad.

Oh, you got me all dreaming now...

I've always said if I had the money I would have three bikes.
A top notch sportster. Good for the peverbial Sunday thrash
A tourer. Some thing sensible so the mrs wont complain (St 1100 maybe  )
And an every day hack which gets me to work and back
Only problem is I always find something else to spend the money on before I can even think of bikes, like morgage, food, electric, wife
