I use an optimate sp3 and think it's the most useful maintenance accessory I've ever bought for my bike.

Deffo Optimate

Got 2 of them now and very good.

Last one was £30 from Rufforth, even my mate with motor factors couldn't sell me one for that, so I bought another.

Here you go one for similar price with BIN on ebay:

Optimate 3

Get it bought

the protech 111 will in most cases reserect a very low charged gel type battery and poss others where the optimate wont, contact jaws motorcycles,he is a blackbird specialist, a biker and a top bloke ,he knows his stuff and the charger is cheaper from memory than the optimate.you can call him on 07818822887 or 01842754415,looked on his site and only £24 plus post http://www.jaws-motorcycles.co.uk/special.htm

Best way to keep your battery in the best of condition.................Ride your bike everyday.
I mean, c'mon out there, all this global warming etc etc
In the last 15 years of all year round riding I have never had a battery failure or gone flat on me.
Yet i'll hardly see a fellow biker for the next six months!!
Get out there and use the bike, come spring time you will be ready to rock. No need for a wee while to get your eye in or hone your riding skills.

gazbut,
ive got a optimate and a maximiser,
never had a problem with either of them.
when the missus had her bike, i had 1 plugged into each bike
spot on no probs at all.
now theres only my bike ,i swap them round every now and then ,and they both seem to do the job.

pat.
yellow all the way...
who needs 4 cylinders when 2 are this good!!

storm no more...rsv power now.
(along with 85cc of honda finest)
