New Rear Shock and Barnett Clutch Springs

Hello everyone, good to be back!

I'm planning on getting my Firestorm a new rear shock for Christmas, I need a wee bit of guidance on which to get though!

the obvious choice is Penske, after talking to Roger I think this is the way I'm going to go but I wondered if any of you had any other ideas or suggestions?

while I'm here, where's the best place to get myself a set of Barnett clutch springs?

Hey Tom,

Dont know much about this sort of thing but every time i read a suspension thread people seem to vote for the penske or maxton.

I have a feeling (no not that sort missus) Roger has Penske shocks built especially for the Firestorm. Best double check with him

I went the Elka route.
After seeing one on another bike which was used all year and continuously covered in crap it was still in like new condition. I've heard a few stories of the finish on the Ohlins and Penskies suffering after only a few months so I thought I would try something different.
And The handling is superb on both road and track
