I'm not touching insurance rants with a very long stick.

I'll be off on one that puts any rant ever seen to shame, culminating in some head exploding or kitten violence.

Suffice to say I just can't get behind a concept where a legal requirement is handled by for profit companies who make their own rules.

The "call centre" person did have to go check with their supervisor on the cans but all was ok.

That was with ebike.
eBike are cool with mods on bikes. I did struggle getting a decent quote this year though on my SP1, as lots of insurers refused to cover when I listed the mods (custom paint, end cans, rearsets, PC, hugger). All the mods are fairly "standard" but loads of insurers would not offer a quote

Am now with Adrian Flux....declared some of the mods at sign-up. then the remaining ones after 2 weeks (no price increase).
