Is that like AutoCAD, Kev? My Dad taught AutoCAD for yonks before he retired.

Entirely useless & boring tidbit there.
Apologies for wasting a post :P

Does your other half keep asking you "are you going to grow up one day or wait until you retire?" :D

I'm a Building Services Engineer, I design all the airconditioning/heating/fire systems/lifts/water systems/lighting/power etc for buildings.

Allegedly that is, most of the time I'm lurking about here

Qualified as a town planner but never practiced it (well you wouldn't would you?). Spent last 10 years as a Town Centre Manager, putting up with whinging shopkeepers and pretending I give a sh*t.

Got really bloody in last couple of years, so in October I took their offer and am now unemployed. Ha, but I was going to leave in April anyway, to start a new life in France 8) . This way I get the b*stards to pay my way for me  !

For a view of where we're going to be living, feel free to visit either of the links below - there's a set on Flickr called Chauvac. We should be there by June - visitors will be very welcome. (Great biking roads  ).

Oh, and Hazel's a nuclear physicist (no, really).

yup, i have a degree in CAD, did some lecturing myself at college, while i was getting the degree at uni, i use AutoCAD to design hydraulic schematics and then a 3d package called Inventor to design the finished units b4 sending everything out to manufacture.
