Seat Mod
The Storm seat is notoriously difficult to get off. This is caused by the two brassy looking hooks attached to the underside of the seat. If you remove them the seat then comes off easily, however all that then holds the seat on is the locking catch. Take of the seat turn it upside down remove the M6 locking nuts (one to each hook) and srew on one more M6 ordinary nut to act as a spacer replace the hooks and replace the lock nuts. You will find that the seat now comes off easily but you still have the security of the hooks to prevent accidental dislodgement of the seat.

I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

I have a perfectly functioning seat. I mean just as it must have been designed. I have found that on mine by turning the key with my right hand AND KEEPING IT TURNED while using the left hand to push back on the seat hump (or even just 'clip' my fingers under the hump) to push it back results in a perfect and easy removal.
If I just release the key and push back it doesn't work. What's different about mine? About two hours work pushing, tweeking and bending the steel hook loops and the tabs to get them to line up 'just so'!!!!!!!
Before, I used to have to literally thump the seat backwards with the palm of my hand.
