mmm belly pan/bottom fairing
single sided SA
underseat exhausts
foot position looks set back a la rear sets.

at least a couple of things that mostly everyone wants to do to their existing vtr .

I like it

Underseat pipe spoils the practicality -they should really have it on the left side a la NC30
Then I'd be VERY interested
Oh and the seat needs to be a bit thicker

My Dad has one of the best VFR's -the last of the 750s
Incredible motor, superb handling, NR750 looks just a bit overweight
I remember PB raced one at the Snetterton 6 hour with the only mods being a can and some smaller footpegs
I've got an inferiority complex
But its not a very good one!

You do realise there's been something like this around for years.....and it's a v twin? :P

Had a ride on one when they first came out in around 2002 and it's the dogs bollox, basically a RSV Millie in touring guise. Underseat exhaust, single sider, upside down forks, brembo brakes and even a centre stand. Very, very tempted by one but not sure if I could put up with The Italian electrics. Oh, it has the most comfortable seat ever fitted to a bike.

The Honda picture is still a photoshop jobbie

now, ive always fancied the closest thing you can get to an NR750

which in my opinion is a vfr750

i dont know why i like it so much. maybe its the possible fact it takes many styling ques from the NR

Whilst it may be a generated image, the all singing new VFR wont be till late this year. Probably October's Tokyo show.

The 1000 V4 sport tourer (not known if its even going to be a VFR for sure, but seems very likely) and a high tuned V4 race bike (SP-3? Unlikely IMO, probably a new RC model, my money's on RVF1000 RC55)

Also IMO I think the design will emulate the new shape Fireblade more than the old VFR.

Honda (and everybody else) patent loads of stuff they never use, mainly to hold the patent to stop other people using it.

No suprise Honda have a load of V5 patents spawned from their MotoGP RC211V but whether they ever get made into anything is another matter entirely.

Thats why we havent seen much development on 2WD systems yet as Yamaha has hundreds of patents on various designs and isn't doing very much with them at the moment. Also the same reason BMW holds thousands of telelever and paralever type designs as patents so they can maintain a monopoly on anything similar.

I know Cupa says it is a hoax, but could it be a future Blade?
its not the new blade...thats pig ugly from all the photo's i've seen, i'll hold final judgement till i see one in the flesh, but most of the GSX-ZX-R-whatevers all look the same to me and are lightweight/spindley ugly machines, the mega phone exhaust on the blade is by far the worste bit, and they are just copying everyone else who has been doing it, they should have stuck with the underseat which streamlines the whole bike in my opinion, but to keep it like the moto gp bike i guess its that way for a reason and the sports bike buying public want whatevers on the track.
i guess i like the slightly different not so mainstream bikes, like the aprilias, and even the VFR in the pic if it came out anything like that. i like the STORM so what else can i say...
