Sorry to hear that Tony, I lost my Dad 2 years ago.
He was 79 and had cancer.
It's very sad, always miss him, I know how you feel.

It dose get better in time you change the way you think about your loss

Lost my dad 27 years ago when I was 15

Still miss him now

But when I think about him now it’s more the thing we did together and the funny moments I remember and not losing him

Remember what they say Times a healer

Thoughts are with you.

Make the most of the impromptu family reunion that's about to take place & enjoy the memories. Cry as much as you like.

A little saying I've adopted that helps a lot, particular with my work:
Don't cry that's it's over -- Smile that it happened.
If you ate yourself would you become twice as big or simply disappear?

My condolences too Tony. Going through a similar time with my mum who is 86, but slipping away.
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

So sorry Tony, he'll always be with you.

Had a dream about mine just yesterday, had a hug and a cry in the dream. most cathartic.

Just like VTRgirl says.
