3 main contenders:

Avon Storm ST (AV56) - 7000 miles on mine and still OK, starting to square off now. Also worth it for Avon's free replacement within first 1mm if you get a nail in it or something.

Bridgestone BT021 - good reports from those who've used them. Bridgestone BT014 and BT020 I've used were very good, so the 021 should be too.

Michelin Pilot Road 2 - Riders I know have them on other bikes rate them highly. Michelin claim they are the best wet grip available tested against everything else similar.

Some others might be:

Pirelli Dragon Evo, Metzeler MEZ3, Dunlop 220

At least one user (KarlosVTR) has liked Maxxis.

I went past a sign yesterday offering

New TRYES for sale...

Would've stopped for a pic if it wasn't pouring...
If you ate yourself would you become twice as big or simply disappear?
