Fitted them today. Here's the vid:

Yeah, I know theres smoke from the downpipe, compression clip wasnt tightened properly

Excited they're on and rushing to do video see.

They'll be up for sale soon.

Nothing "up" with them, but I prefer the MIG ones.

Reasons being I made some spacers so I could fit my rear pegs back on and they had to be so long to go over the link pipes on the Blue Flames, they'd just bend. Be fine if I wasn't bothered about ever using the rear pegs, but I increasingly find I need to have them as an option.

The link pipes on the Blue Flames are a pretty severe "s" shape too and interfere with my prefered most comfy riding position. They've been fine really as I just adapted to them, but the Migs are so nice in how swoopy and close fitting they are.

They only have a 1 inch spacer on the rear pegs, the Blue Flames I was up to 4 inch nearly.

Also, the MIGs fit much more with how I want my bike to be, just have a bellypan to source now. Rogers doing my suspension next week and get my carbon tank back on and she's all done.

Still, I'll do a good deal on the Blue Flames for a site member (they have some small scratches and tiny dings) and I might even make a brew and fit them in my garage if anyone wanted to ride to my place with a wad of notes for me.

cant understand why you needed spacers on the blueflames i never did on standard setup or when i cranked them up sp1 style.

Or did you have yours high rise??

Compare pictures to see the difference:

Blue Flames:

MIGs:

You can see the Blue Flames are a lot more vertical link pipes. I'm most comfy with my toes right back on the pegs, and have to adapt to more forward on my arch with the BF on. Also, the BF are fairly straight which means theres a fair distance from the pillion bolts out to the pegs (hence why they have a bracket mount that does away with them altogether) The MIGs are very swoopy and bend into the bike. Problem with this is I now have an indicator visibility problem - soon to be fixed though.

Nothing wrong with the BFs, I've had them on nearly a year, I do like them, I just like the MIGs more

yeah i see now Kitch the bf high rise pipe is a bit naff in it. Much crisper now with the migs on.

the BF's have kick plates on them to, after i fitted a set of race pags i seem to have stopped hitting my heels now, it was a problem for me to as my boots have big protectors on them which hit the kick plates. the new foot position even though its 10mm up and 10mm back seems to be better for clearance.

its "slightly not round" (read: dinged it - it'll straighten out though once I attack it with some mole grips)
