rip off britain

i have a michelin macadam tyre which im going to get fitted to my bike,anyway i thought i will do a web search to see what the tyres are like,and i got some prices,front uk price £76,us price $91 or £46,rear tyre uk price £92,us price $113 or £58.now who is paing too much?

Bloody Hell sole you just noticed it’s a rip off here m8

To many middle men all taking a slice of the pie most things now get imported in to the uk so there’s the original producer then the exporter then the importer then the wholesalers then the retailer and finally you footing the bill :(

Sad state of affairs really not so long back any big project going on in the world you could guarantee a major British firm would be involved some were now we only have 4% of the population working in production and most of them according to a TV program are paid a little more that illegal immigrants doing picking work in Norfolk and less than sh*t shovelers working in the sewerage industries

Its due to the weak dollar, that's all.

well they have to buy the tyres from france paid in euros,the same supplier that supplies the uk

Pay rise? What's that?

I still waiting for one two years into a new job so that makes my std of living pretty poor. I guess that's why the 'Storm is locked away in the Secure-a-Bike garage untaxed (and yes, unridden at the mo).
