reckon its just you timbo ...my db screen went on a treat..good tip with any rubber in cold is dip or pour hot water over bits..makes them soft and plyable..needs pic now

yep soaking the grommets in hot water before hand makes em real easy to fit....old ones go hard and brittle and end up causing grief like u found out :roll:
