do it yourself....u can buy 10yr vinyl for Â£5 a yard.....the black bits are real easy...then buy the white, remove said panel, outlline onto tracing paper..then onto vinyl....make sure the bodywork is clean with isopro alcohol..then squirt with water/washing up liquid..and slide vinyl into place...squeeze all air bubbles out with a credit card and let dry..bingo...ive been toying with doing mine...used this method before on bikes and works a treat and looks great

The exhaust wrap looks an interesting idea...Mine have gone that horrible crappy colour and its either that or long hours i havent got polishing

i polished my front pipes and when i started the bike they discoloured straight away...wasn't a happy bunny, lol. luckily i didn't put to much effort into it and go for a mirror finish.

Try Motographix at Doncaster (if they still are about???)

Im sure they use to do loads of stuff like that

the numberboards are still available and ive seen an advert somewhere but for the life of me cant remember where

try imageworks in ilkeston, derby for the black bits. they do the stickers for some yamaha bsb or something and do a pretty good job for nearly no money

yeah john, they moved onto york road near b&q...went in tother week'..no vtr boards tho

Now why didn't I think of that Lee, that's a really good idea

Especially as the graphics on the bike I pictured are nothing too complicated to cut-out.

Who supplies 10yr vinyl for Â£5 a yard

One thing though that I did wonder, perhaps Lee you may know this seeing as you've had previous experience, how do you get the vinyl to lay flat on panels that are not completely flat without leaving a crease

How did you get on with the yellow one on the seat plastics, as that is definitely not flat

any local graffix shop should be willing to sell you off cuts or like i used to get a yard at a time,any colour for Â£5

..just go visit one and beg..and yep do as mike says above

That sounds like a good idea Lee. I just did a search and there are more sign makers around here than I ever realised
