thanks for the update, been waiting to see what the outcome was, i guess i might just get a new left hand mirror then, and put up with seeing my elbows and not the ground with the r6's.

Well Tim at least you had a go :!:

As with a lot of things you sometimes have to bite the bullet and find out for yourself, as what suits some may not necessarily suit others and vice-versa :!:

Mirrors - mirrors oh yes those are the things people who ride red or yellow bikes have to look in. As I have a black one nobody ever gets that close

I'm sure when i did this I used R1 mirrors? but I found that they were too long and the vibration from the bike made them buzz so much it was like trying to see underwater when looking in them.. that and the fact they kept twatting car mirrors when filtering.. so i put the storm ones back on, and learned to ride with my elbows tucked in..

Timbo why don't you take em off altogether and fit a rear facing camera :?: then you will not only be able to see behind but also film yourself getting nicked

Mike RAM make all sorts of mounting solutions if you can find a screen. My GPS fits to a bracket attached to the front brake handlebar clamp. I have also adapted the bracket to take my Oregon digicam.

I fitted R6 mirrors years ago and modified the stalks to allow them to be folded out a little more.
I then moved onto R1 mirrors since I though they looked better with longer stalks.

I have some pictures but forget how to post them here.

Of course they don't fit anymore coz the fairing is so-yesterday....LOL
