A good day out

Post by Beamish »

Just done about 150 miles on the red baron, what a cracking day!
The roads were dry and apart from the odd v strong gust of wind it was bliss. The Bridgestone 021's are definately as good as the 014's felt top dollar on all surfaces. The only thing that annoys me about the bike is I had to fill up twice! My friends ZX6 had about 45 miles till reserve and I was absolutely bone dry, in the Lincolnshire boonies the garages are few and far between so it was touch and go wether or not I would make it.
I have grown to really love this bike so I think the fuel range issue is a small gripe in comparison. I cant wait for summer! Bring it on 8) 8) 8)

Don’t have that trouble with tank range with my tiered old frame if I don’t get of every 100 or so miles I’d seize on there and you'd need a shovel to pry me off :D :D :D

Fair point but not every coffee stop has fuel 8O Bloomin yellow bellies dont put fuel stations near good biking roads.
