It's amazing how all the 'little' modifications add up eh?

As listed back at me by a fellow 'Stormer on the site after I said there was never anywhere near thirty mods I'd had done to the VTR.

The number of non standard items!!!!!

(1) Indicator 'On' warning system with delay and brake overide.

(2) Belly pan

(3) Hazard warning lights

(4) Mirror extensions x 2 either side.

(5) Yellow headlamp protector screen

(6) After market lowered foot pegs

(7) Honda can bafflectomy straight thru pipes.

(8.) 'VisiStop' brake light pulser and on/off switch.

(9) Scrolling message/extra brake light board and on/off switch

(10) Rear paddock stand bobbins

(11) 19mm handlebar risers

(12) Camera mounting bracket

(13) 'ICON' programmable ignition unit

(14) Modified air box

(15) Carb syncro pipes etc

(16) Brighter LED bulbs in speedo pod

(17) Brighter LED bulb in front position light

(18.) RC45 reduced throw twistgrip

(19) Brighter headlamp bulb

(20) Modified rear brake pedal

(21) C11 Cyclone talking alarm system & seperate immobliser

(22) Speedo healer

(23) DG8 Gear indicator

(24) Heated handlebar grips

(25) Dark tinted screen

(26) Rear shock spacer

(27) Scott oiler

(28.) Rear hugger

(29) Clock

(30) Wheel rim tapes

(31) Blind spot mirrors

(32) Protector on fuel tank

(33) Crash bungs (large and smaller ones)

(34) Registration change to VTR 1K

(35) Voltage regulator changed to a Yamaha R6 unit

Thanks for reminding me of how much time it has taken Mr Other Stormer. You know who you are!!!! :lol:

When I had my accident I claimed on my house insurance for my clothing and helmet. (accidental loss damage or theft away from home)

They weren't too interested when I said that some extras fitted (like the high level extra brake light and crash bungs etc) were all safety not performance related!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my insurance at 260.20ukp last week fully comp with unfortunately no no-claims bonus as I wrote off that VTR last year :cry: That was a con writing it off by the insurance group but not a lot I could do. I reckon about 350-400 ukp would have sorted it with a selection of new parts and some pre owned bits but they said 6 grands worth of NEW parts. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Did you know that the std Honda 'belly pan' (oil filter cover!) is 117.50 + vat? Joke eh?

1. Tinted Double Bubble
2. BMC Racing Filter
3. Flush front ind
4. Mini rear Ind
5. Sharkskinz Belly Pan
6. Custom Hi level cans
7. Digi gear Ind
