Can't get a new Rear Shock

Post by tiggerii »

Have decided to keep the Storm and spend some more money on it including getting the suspension sorted.

Problem seems to be that the suspension companies are saying the Storm is no longer popular enough. Apparently Hyperpro no longer do a Firestorm rear shock, Penske and White Power are saying special build only will take 8-10 weeks so my man down at Powerlinks in Ringwood is now pursuing an Ohlins route.

Has anyone else had any problems like this recently?

Will be interested to hear about the Wilbers shock, as for Penske they are quoting 5-6 weeks for a unit.

Hagons are absolutely fine. Had one 7 years, had it rebuilt last year for £100
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

I got a Technoflex sent from Holland. Took about 3 weeks.

Great peice of kit, very well finished.

Try DPS racing, Skipton Yorks.

Hagon are a good call too, £260
