Misfire
Strange, I have read all kinds of things here and elsewhere about slight misfire at low revs but most seemed to be caused and solved differently!
When I got my 04 Firestorm in march 2007 it had what i would call 'missing a beat' on what may have been just one cylinder. In the winter it seemed to be worse and had a couple of times caused the bike to stall. Increasing the slow running a tad cured the stalling but the slight misfire continues. Always happens witht the throttle shut or almost shut on low revs. I have read in mags as well as here and another forum that this kind of thing is quite common. The bike has stock equipment at the moment but I also have Carbon Can co silencers but fitted or no makes no difference. The bike is in for service soon any further ideas as to what I can get checked out?

I'd wait until it comes back from the service before trying too much. Let them know the problem is there so they don't give you any "But you didn't tell us that!" excuses. It may clear it's self up with a new set of plugs and having the carbs ballanced so they might just do a normal service anyway.
