Nice one Timbo, a lot funnier than most of the MCN reviews I have read :lol: Although I luurrve the Storm its nice to thrape the ass off a four pot :twisted: Repeat after me....... the redline is my friend.....the redline is my friend.......

Nice one ol boy.. Glad you are enjoying your new friend..
I traded in My storm for a ZX9R. last year and must agree with Kwakers are Krackers..my m8 had an 1100.. and that could shift it ..he killed it at knockhill. on a trackday.. and till he binned it, the chagrin of the R1 & blade boys was palpable..looks like a "proper bike" as my old man would say... 8)

it just revs a little high when cruising at 60mph ish
That'll just be because you're still in V twin mode :wink:
When I test rode my Storm after years of riding an inline four, coming down the by-pass, I thought I was in top gear (6th) but I was only in 4th :!:

A good write up Tim, sounds like so far you're enjoying the new bike very much, which is good :D

Yes it is a classic roundabout as is the circuit going along stannanought up through pimbo on the one way and back under the motorway just to do it all again
have been up there a few times thinking i was on a track day with loads of bikes under the motorway bridge watching their mates doing laps
