Underneath the seat

Post by Firemonkey »

Coming up from the rear subframe on my storm are are two loops and it looks like my seat should have a couple of hooks that locate under them half way down? My seat feels loose as a consequence.

Can somebody post up a picture of the underside of their seat so that I can see if I do have something missing.

Thanks

You're right there should be two metal brackets that lock under those two hooks when the seat is replaced. However a lot of them have been removed, as it's quite difficult to get the hooks in the exact place to make removing and refitting of the seat easy. But it can be done imo with time and patience as I have with mine :!:

Another reason people don't think those hooks are really necessary is because Corbin after market seats don't fit them on theirs,

Chris.

Thanks for the reply mate.

OK then... so does anybody have a set of these hooks lying around that they dont want or dont use that I could purchase off them for a modest sum?
