Hi,
I'm looking to swap my 1200 Bandit for a VTR. Price/age/mileage are about the same and it's a tidy looking bike. Totally standard. BUT dealer who's selling the VTR says it needs shims on the front cylinder. It does sound a bit 'tappety' but runs fine.
Dealer says that the shims are unique to VTR's and that even Honda dealers don't keep them in stock?
Is this going to be a big job, costing me a fortune?
Advice needed ASAP as dealer has the VTR on ebay and wants to take it off.
