Grab rail
Yep, you can either buy direct, but I saw one on e-bay last night but it had the 'parcel shelf' attachment also.
They are about £40 new, but work fine.
***Not sure about the seat cowl fitting with the rail in place though***
Beacuse of the seat being slid on from the back, I find the rail is in the way (mine's an F2 storm.)
Any comments? Maybe the recent mod on the workshop page would get over this...

Try this, when refitting the seat put the butt end of the seat into the grab rail loop, lower the front down, careful not to scratch the tank, place your fingers between the seat & tank press your thumbs into the tank & flex the front of the down to lip the tonque under the retaining bar. Push it down from the back to locate. All done
To remove the seat use the same principle
Alan ( mines an 02 also )

Rentec fits fine with seat cowl in place, bit of a squish but does work, mines been on 2 years and no scratches to the seat unit despite many removals
I've found that the misses prefers a "Love handle" belt to the grab rail, it which works very well, however doesn't look so good with a bloke grabbing your waist though!
Also try the tribo seat cover- works wonders for pillion confidence, my kids no longer slide around and now love the bike.
