Are you parked up by the chip shop there?
Been 10 years since I was in Matlock Bath, we stayed in a flat beside a shop selling pine furniture (with mega tight parking at the rear) about 20yards up from the chip shop. The livingroom window looked down the street so the entertainment was to my liking.
Cheers

Yeah it was the chip shop,it was shut, not many people about.Went to the greasy spoon further up.Was weird going into matlock,it has all changed, you go past a supermarket on a new bypass, brings you out at where the old train station used to be.Used to be at matlock myself a lot, when my aunt lived in Chesterfield..Note to anybody going there, the road that leads to grindleford is shut, you now have to go thru hathersage, and climb up.Bonus is its a stonking road,as they usually are when found by mistake!!

Looks a bit quiet there, your Storm looks lonely! Travelled Macc to Buxton yesterday along the A537 and there were the usual nutters (car drivers) on the road thinking it's a race track. Couple of idiots passed me in a line of 3 cars, on a blind bend, over white lines, hate to think what would have happened if something had been coming the other way. They clearly can't read the signs.

It's very scenic south of there - around Warslow/Wetton/Manifold Valley/Dovedale. Lots of back roads (not suitable for high speed I'm afraid). There's a long, narrow tunnel near Warslow (a converted single-track railway line) which is fun - if you don't have your lights on to start with then half way down you can't see a thing - it's further than you think. Loud cans are deafening in there.
