Rebuild Relief

Post by BIG STEVE »

Just a bit of a note of thanks to the forum as a whole.
I have pretty much finished my "semi rebuild" and on sunday i started it up (no silencers - happy neighbours ...NOT !!)
But i was so releived that it started and the pistons didnt eat the valves etc.
Thanks to all the workshop posts, timing set up procedure from the guys at revolution etc manual CCT info etc just made the job so much eisier and gave me the confidence to have a go myself (saving £££££££££)

Its a bugger trying to get the engine back in on yer todd though 8O

So cheers all

I found it easier to support the engine and wheel the bike over it wheel barrow fashion then drop the frame on to the engine
