rolling road / dynojet setup

Post by Geordie »

Hello all

Have just fitted a pair of MIG concepts and as expected the bike sounds incredible but drives like it is suffering from fuel starvation, spitting and popping with no throttle response eventually cutting out. Waiting a minute then restart it fine for a mile or so then rough.
I have a standard engine, only mod is these cans which are bs stamped and legal for road use as far as i can see.
Im going to get it to a rolling road and get a dynojet carb kit for it and get in properly set up.
Im in Ayrshire so does anybody know of a good rolling road / dyno to get the bike setup somewhere semi local , say Glasgow ?
Is there any other makes of carb kits / jets / needles, or the dynojet ones ok ? What sizes of jets or would the garage work that out ?
I know some keep standard filter and other change, Im easy either way as long as it runs smooth ..
Thoughts ?
Cheers

George

i used a guy in strathaven, out the other side of east kilbride, who is pretty good, he works in MCS in renfrew as a mechanic, his name is Willie Ralston, he set mine up without to much problem, but it wasn't quite right, i moved up here and never got back to get it finished. don't know of any other dyno's about the area.
