FUSES BLOWING

Post by CHAZ2711 »

Every time i switch from main beam to dip or vice versa it blows the 20 amp lighting fuse .When this happens everything works exept the headlight. If i dont use the dipswitch the lights are ok.
Any ideas before i spend money on a new l/h h/bar switch?

Some part of the switch is obviously shorting to ground when it's operated. Sounds like you need a new switch. Maybe a broken spring in there.

Simple deduction Watson :P

Just replace switch, fuse, wiring loom, [+ new bulb]. Easy fix.
