Yippee!!!! Mods are done :)

New items:
- 2-1 exhaust
- PVM magnesium wheels (powder coated red)
- 1996 CBR 900RR forks (with RT Gold Valve kit and Ohlins 0.90 kg/mm springs; settings courtesy of Roger Ditchfield :) )
- All Balls tapered roller bearings (steering stem)
- 1998 CBR900RR brake calipers with HRC hard bite pads
- Triumph 955 Daytona 955 front fender with mounting hardware
- Helibars for Daytona 955 (modded: welded 1.5" rise to them)

Still waiting on:
- ZX636 radial front brake cylinder

The result:

Simply awesome!!!!!! The front end feels much more solid and planted. The damping and spring rates and perfect and wheels (shock is a RT-modded stock unit with Hyperpro progressive spring) are glued to the ground. The bike feels much more composed than before. I rode through some of Quebec`s finest "paved over cowtrails" yesterday and even in big bumps the suspension settings are perfect (no pogoing,...). The brakes are awesome: the combination of larger pistons in the calipers and HRC pads are stunningly powerful with amazing progression and modulation.

The light wheels make the bike much more "flickable" and the reduced rotating weight also makes the engine respond better. Although I did not weigh the wheels, myself and the mechanic did do a quick check with the frotn and it is SIGNIFICANTLY lighter than stock. Togehter with the strenghtened mid-range provided by the 2-1 pipe, the bike is a roll-on monster

Finally, I LOVE the look!!!!

I am VERY happy :) :) :)

Here is a pic (hoping, of course, this works):
