Fuel tank

Morning

Just a quick question

I have had the storm in bits for the last few weeks but are now putting it back together, there are 2 hoses on the underneath of the fuel tank, a black rubber one and a clear plastic one, am I correct in thinking they are an overflow and breather and therefore not connected to anything else but left open

what year is your bike mate, i think the tank hoses changed when they updated the tank, some people have fuel taps, mine which is an 02 doesn't so we couldn't tell you what the hoses do

It's a 1998 with a fuel tap under the tank

If the are connected to the tank then you are correct - one is the overflow and the other the breather

That will leave 2 x petrol pipes and 1 x vacuum pipe which DOESN'T connect to the bottom of the petrol rock, but the side.
