R1 mirrors

Just fitted some ,Bloody hell I can see whats behind me for the first time without pulling my shoulders in.
Just put the right one one first so I could compare them with the originals
I can see 100% better

Drilled out the yamaha pins and opened up the holes to take the firestorm bolt then packed them out with washers fit a treat .
Cut part of the yam boot to tidy up around the fitting.
You dont realise how bad the storm ones are until you replace them , The storm ones r almost dangerous there so bad

Could do with doing something with mine I have a lovely set of elbow in my mirrors but no idea if plods admiring them to

Im really interested,cos since fitting risers n superbike bars my grips/levers touch the mirrors just before full lock.
To make things worse bike is due an MOT next week.
Thought about buying those mirror extenders on ebay usa,which ,i think move them out around 1 1/4", and hopefull,due to the angle, raise them as well,can anybody confirm.
Failling that a bar end mirror

Cheers for the info matey, i def need something higher.
I know in normal riding the grips/levers would never touch the mirrors,but does happen manouvering in out my garage. Just hopin it doesnt fail mot .

They deff look good, might be wrong but im sure i saw addy for them with dimensions saying they were 270mm long, think if i remember right thats what standard storm ones are.

yep mike was right
i did buy some ,and ive got straight bars fitted aswell,
still cant see 100%,but alot better than the standard storm ones

so im happy with them

I'm on my third set of the same ones as Mike and Patty, stems are quite weak.
And they vibrate more than the standard ones. But yes, you can see fine past your elbows, and the look fine.
Matches the carbon cans, front mudguard and helmet.

Problem solved with mirror extenders,cheers Chris (sirch), they work a treat ,if on Sat the MOT tester turns my bars to full lock,he wont squash his fingers noo
