All I can think now is to drill a couple of holes and use a 2-pin wrench - but I would rather not drill right through and maybe get chips into the engine. Can anyone tell me about how thick the cap is so I know how deep I can drill?Chris

I tried to remove the cap to get access to the alternator rotor bolt, used a correctly fitting hex wrench and it just took the corners off of it All I can think now is to drill a couple of holes and use a 2-pin wrench - but I would rather not drill right through and maybe get chips into the engine. Can anyone tell me about how thick the cap is so I know how deep I can drill?
