how easy is it to turn a pair of norm level cans to high level?
is it just a case of getting link pipes and hanger brackets?
whats the deal with getting the right link pipes n brackets with out much do it yourself drilling and modding...
i dont mind getting my hands dirty but i have done enough to last me a life time and would prefer to pay some one else to do all the work....
Dead easy mate just swap the link pipes. Only problem i had was the hangers for the cans if i wanted to keep the rear footrests then i had to make a bracket so just binned them and bolted the cans to the undertray.

not fussed about the rear foot rests to be honest....
but what do i need to look for in the link pipes?
obviously the connecting size of the can pipe... but any thing else?
Get in touch with MTC exhausts in Ormskirk.......he will be able to source some link pipes (as long as the cans are fairly standard 2" opening)....I got some for my old SP1 from him. Top bloke as well!
you might find that low level cans are longer than high level ones, i tried a set of quill cans on high level link pipes and they stuck out the back of the bike by over 6" and looked stupid. if the cans are race ones you might be able to cut them down a bit if needed.
