clutch noise on my vtr 98 model
my clutch doesnt engage till lever is nearly all the way out &normal take off,shifting(hard or easy) downshifting,compression braking(even compression lock ups)etc is all fine but if i try to take off quick sometimes my clutch squeals loudly &seems like it is slipping for about 2 seconds then is ok,how can i adjust clutch to pick up with half travel &why does it squeal?
Did you get banished from th Oz firestorm site or are they just shite? 
Try taking off your front sprocket cover and cleaning in behind it. The clutch actuating rod is in behind there and is probibly covered in chain oil and all sorts of crap that will cause is to stick.
