Petition on Unfair Bike VED

Current petition regarding unfair bike VED increases that includes a "hidden" comment from our wonderful chancellor to DOUBLE the rate in 2009 8O

I am getting so P****d off with this country on things like this especially when they try to pass it off with some green do-good spin :evil:

It's not coming into affect, someone mis-read the budget report, it isn't happening, the duty's staying static until 2009 then increasing in line with inflation.

I thought the same thing, but it isn't happening. :wink:

Well i hope thats the case, although I still think we pay over the odds in comparison to the cars.
Using their own green arguments, we use less petrol, cause no congestion, and have a lower CO2 output.
If low emission cars can be exempt why not bikes?

Erm when did a Storm use less petrol than a car :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Takes up less road space, so helps ease congestion though.
