Well I hope no-one has trouble with the socket not fitting. Anyway, soryy for the slight delay (blame the nice weather - I'd rather be out on the bike than in the workshop!) but the adpaters are finished and will be posted tomorrow morning. I changed the design a bit, I added two 6mm screws at the sides which will grip the socket and hold it in place. and I sunk the heads of the clamp screws so it looks a bit better. Note when fitting you have to undo those 4 screws to release the top piece, and the screws are not all the same length (front 2 are a bit longer). The socket should be a tight fit but the two 6mm screws will make sure it doesn't move when you push the waterproof cap in place. This is a pic showing all sides of the thing...

They look smashing Chris,
I'm sure we'd have waited a bit longer mate, 'all work & no play' as they say - don't want you getting 'Dull'
A great big thanks from me for the time and effort put in, not to mention your generosity in offering to knock them up for us.
Graeme.

I was hoping they'd have the rubber sleeves and 'end caps'.
Want some good weatherproof / waterproof 12V connectors for the bikes.
Rather than pay a shed load of money for additional Garmin power leads, want to just fit a (probably male) connector to the end of the GPS lead onto the cradle, and another to the bikes. That way we can just move the cradle with power tail from bike to bike, as they are already set up with Ram mounting balls.
Hey ho, I'll keep looking.

Hi Chris,
I have to agree with Graeme (RSV) they certainly do look the business, also it wouldn't have mattered to me either, if you took longer (what with the descent weather here who could blame you) before you completed them
A nice little touch there on this batch with the heads of the clamp screws being now flush with the top
I too really appreciate all your time and effort put into making these and look forward to receiving one
Many Thanks,
Cheers,
Chris.
