fuel tap vacuum
fuel tap vacuum
Right ive got a small problem here chaps, just replaced the engine back into the frame , and its all ready to go apart from the vacuum pipe that goes to the tank...... I cant remember where it goes... it's connected at the tank end and theres two other ends.... anyone able to help?
Bit confusing as you say the pipe (singular) has two other ends?
The vacuum pipe attaches to the petcock assembly at the small side pipe, not the bottom. There are two other pipes that go on the petcock, one for each carburettor fuel inlet. You then have a short overflow pipe and the breather from the tank itself.

Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Not sure how much if any these will help but here goes anyway.

Possibly of more use is ...

This shows picture of the connection...

Failing that, it's a trip outside with some tools and have a look see and report back for one of us matey.
I'm sure there's a thread with a good explanation but I'm damned if I can find it.
