Feck me, it's Yellow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at least it's not feckin Teal!!!!

Nice though, as close as I'm ever likely to come to owning a hardley.

I do like 'em.

Awesome in the twisties - sound pretty nice too.

Like the bronze and blue ones myself.

Nice one John - no fairing - windy but hang on!

Which one is it?

Be interested to know how twitchy it is at high speeds (shorter wheelbase) and how bloody awesome it is in the twisties (shorter wheelbase).

Need reports

Have you ridden one clayderman?

TBH the performance difference up to legal speeds is not that different between the 9 and the 12. Once the 9's had some mods its as quick as a standard 12 (about 85-90bhp)

Neither make that much outright power. Both have crap bhp figures for a big engine. Its the way they make it though

Granted, they run out of puff before 7g. But the noise, handling and presence make up for it imo.

At the end of the day they are a very "marmite" bike. You either like em or hate em

Ive bought the 9 for a few reasons.

-Ive had the 12 on test before and loved it
-Always wanted one
-Im not doing the mileage I used to-mways, lond distances etc...
-It offers better mpg than the storm or the TL
-It handles like my old 250 (like its on rails!)
-It looks great imo
- I need to slow down a bit (not on bends but in a straight line  )
-Oh, looked at 600's-had a fazer a bit back and that was great-but wanted a proper VTwin with similar ergonomics and more grunt!

This should be just the ticket!

Test one mate. I think you'll like it

I've not been out on one yet, but I did sit on one at the bike show last year and have to admit I did very much like the feel of it. I love the different design approach they have to solving problems, especially that counter rotating drive belt tensioner wheel 8)

:D :D :D

New I would get mixed reviews

Just picked it up today. Great bike. Really good. Really, really good :D Not had a smile on my face for a bit riding other bikes.

It tops out just over the ton, bth thats brill for me!

Sounds LOUD!

Its quite funny watching dogs and children run away-or they point (not dogs mind... 8O )

Top bike. Handles loads better than the 250 I had a bit ago. Really.

90's enough. Past that the neck goes...it will do more but suppose its good for the licence?

Not smiled as much for an age on a bike. 70 never felt so fast 8O

Understand your sentiment re:Buells Lee...we will see?

Not best for us all to be the same

TL's gone-which I was quite sad about-time for a change!

Cheers!

An interesting choice JB :!: That's probably as close as I would get to owning a Harley at the moment, although my brother own's a 1450 Dyna Superglide.

Keep us posted on your opinion after you've done a few miles on her :D

Well, a week on and what a week its been! Would be out today but the weathers put a "dampener" on things

Bloody brilliant little bike. Love it :D

Gives me a grin every time I ride it :D Its defo not as quick straight line/outright as the Storm or the monster TL.

It would kill either in the twisties though

Im still getting used to how fast it tips in to bends. Even with spirited riding im know where near the limits 8O It reminds me of my RGV250R but with loads of V-twin stomp :D :D :D Love it. And it sounds lurvly!

Been to look at parts costs and its all cheaper than I thought. Oil & filter less than £30. It does need changes every 2000 miles or so, but the clearances are self adjusting so thats a bonus :D

All in all, great bike. Love it :P

Great choice in my opinion  I love em, could be on to something there but I need to try one against a KTM Duke or similar. The Blade is going to get me banned or killed or both 8)
