Cheers Beamish :D

My mate has a Superduke and another a new Speed Triple.

Both are faster than my mine straight line wise and have a more "sports bike" orientated feel. I like the lazy torque on mine though and the fact im not going to lose my licence as easily as the other 2-he says...

On the other hand, both the KTM and the Triumph are far more expensive to buy. And parts aren’t too cheap. Not that some are for the Buell.

I paid a little over £2500 for my 52 plate, FSH, 6000 miles and 1 owner...

The KTM has a stupid tank size, about 13/14 litres! 8O So much so my mate has to take a jerry can out on the back on longer runs! He's run out of juice twice! It does about 80-90miles to the tank at best! Not that any of these bikes are practical mind...

On comparison to a Firebalde Id say they are very different. My mate has an RRW and Ive borrowed it quite a few times. The blade is ballistically fast and handles very compliantly. But, it is a bit boring...it just does everything too well :(

The Buell, imo, is much more fun at real road speeds. It sounds 10X better and is very different too. It has plenty of character too.

Each to their own I suppose.
