just a little bit of info.......I phoned these people the other day to get a quote for a pair of Dunlop 208`s.....but was amazed when the gezzer at the other end asked WHAT a 208 was ....he also didn`t know bikes, as he hadn`t got a clue what the sizes were either.....all he kept saying was "we do 207RR`s mate if you want some"...not very confidence inspiring.
They advertise themselves as " the only driving and drive out motorcycle tyre fitters in the area"
as i say...just info.....

I`ve heard he`s a good bloke, one of my mates has his trail bike serviced et by him...the only problem is he has about a two week waiting list at the moment due to only being a "one man band" so to speak....
I`ll give him a call....
Another guy in the Burton area is located in the same industrial park as Petronas (Foggy)....he specialises in racing car tyres, but if you give the details of what you want, he gets the tyres from the manufaturer and fits it at discount (no fitting charge)...if you are nice to him.....
At the height of summer last year he did me a standed 207 for £82.00..fitted to a loose wheel....

just a quick word as to another post. the problem u encountered was proberly because the owner is on holiday and a young friend is answering the phones. they do know what 208 are as they have them in theshop on the shelf.next the reason he was pushing the 207 is that they are on offer a pair and are therfore a lot cheaper wich would save you money. And to say they know notthing about bikes the mechanic has proberly forgot more than me or you will ever know so give them another ring and ask for Richard or murdock and try again and i guarente u wont be disapointed as these two guys are 100% bikers who have been in to bikes for years they have had my storm in a number of times and have done a better job than any other shops ive used if any one has a problem with them pm me and i will be glad to help
