Nice upgrade Mike, always thought about the same route myself.
But after riding a friends a couple of years ago a few times, wasnt comfortable on long distances.
But great fun. :)

Nice looking bike Mike 8)

I had my eyes on an brand new SP2 in our local showroom some years back, it looked lovely, but it was the £6,000 that was needed to go with my Firestorm that stopped me from doing a deal :!:

It sounds like you're enjoying your new bike Mike :D 8)

How do you find the lower bars on the SP compared to the Storm :?:

That's good Mike.

How does the Mrs find it compared to the Storm, perched up quite a bit higher than you :?:

well my missus hates the SP1 perch so virtually all my two-up stuff is on the old storm - no bad thing cos I find the SP less stable two-up than the storm.

My Mrs Hates it!
It's the first bike I've had she not even been on 8O Mind you, it might have something to do with the fact when I brought it home I had the rear seat pad in my back pack and when she asked "where do I sit?" I pulled out the pad from my bag and said "on that" :D
She took one look at it and said "you're havin a laff 8O "
Needless to say I've enjoyed solo ever since  Sorted!

Took the missus out the other day on the Storm. Comments such as 'wheres the grab handle', 'it's a bit hard', 'it sounds like a tractor' and 'I keep rocking forward' had me reaching for the Biketrader....for about all of a minute.

I've resolved myself to the fact that its MY bike and if I like it, i'm keeping it. And saving up for an SP. Time I stopped being a soft sap...there'll be no going back once i'm wed if the precedent is set now!

She'll just have to lump it!

Definitely.
I conceded and put a grab rail on the Storm but that's not happening with this one :D
