Post cricket pint at pub and leaving to come home - switch on ignition - brief flash of console lights then they all go out, no starter - everything dead.
Quick inspection of fuses and they all seem intact
As it's dark I lock the bike up and grab a lift home and scratch head.
Anything advise on what to look at / double check in the daylight tomorrow?
Nothing noticable leading up to this - fitted heated handlbar grips in Easter (tied into ignition and fused (still also intact)) but has run 100% OK everyday since installing them.
Thankfully though it's on the other side of town it's on the direct bus route and the M/C dealers, if necessary, are only a mile or two away from where I've left it.

Bloody hell mate - that's a bugger!
Have you checked the main fuse? LHS of bike under seat? 30A I think, if that's blown, nowt will work.
Take some spares with you and a multimeter or test lamp if you have or can borrow one.
Sounds to me like that could be it, but shouldn't go by itself, possibly a bad short to earth somewhere.
Few months ago whe some little to55ers tried nicking and hot wiring mine, they bared off the ignition wires and managed to short out the main. TBH I think if they hadn't and had managed to start it, I would not still have it.
If Heated Grips are wired via ignition, perhaps they have a dodgy connection or if you've had the down pours we've had up here, got water in and shorted it out?
Personally I'd remove grips and get some heated liner gloves as they warm the outside of your hands, where the blood supply and wind is! Grips don't. But that's just my opinion, that of the other forum members may differ!
