John Goodall - RIP

Post by RedStormV »

As the title suggests :(

We watched the classics from the Gooseneck, but a friend watching from Ballacraine said there'd been a bad off into a wall with subsequent airlift.

It wasn't until we were in the paddock a day later we learned of his demise. Everybody around was shocked and saddened at the news, especially coming shortly after being awarded the Spirit of the Manx award for having raced in every classic since it's inception in '83 which he won!

I unfortunately never had the honour of meeting him.

RIP John

What a guy, to be still racing at the age of 67yrs :!:

How sad he lost his life, but I would say he must have loved the sport very much.

Very sad for all his family and friends left behind :!:

RIP John,

Chris.
