Gear lever

Going to Brands WSB earlier in the month, I was riding down the M1 and went to change down a gear when I realised the gear linkage had come apart the main bolt which threads through the gear/foot leaver had come adrift, has anybody else had this problem
I have found myself that if If I tighten the bolt up to much it is hard to change gear but if left looser it drops off. Any ideas, cheers.

Loctite Threadlock?

Or Superglue?

Not had the problem mate, but the above should sort it.

I had already put threadlock on it, but maybe not enough then

I know people to actually use chewing gum. Wrapp around bolt thread and screw in to right tightness and leave to set. Been told it works a treat , though never tryed it myself . Always handy to know if yh out and about and need to do an emergency repair though .
