Aftermarket Indicators/Alarm Wiring
Aftermarket Indicators/Alarm Wiring
I want to fit mini front & rear indicators on my VTR. I have a Datatool System 3 alarm, which seems to have wires soldered to the bulb holder in each indicator. Should I unsolder these to remove the OE indicators, then re-solder the wires to the bulb holders in the new indicators. I've only soldered once before, but if I'm told the above is the way to go, I'm confident I can do it. Anyone done it before? Comments?

Hi Silvtr
From your discription what your saying makes scence. Here's a little tip if you haven't done much soldering before.
Snip the outer insulating cable back so you can see a nice clean shiney bit of wire. The solder will flow much easier on clean surfaces
Good luck and
