Well they are finally on, apparently 2 days of fannying about!
They seemed to be missing a few springs and connectors and the gear linkage was way too long. a few new bits and a bit of modification and they look V good, along with the Black DB Screen and the Microns.
When I got a set of new Harris rearsets they came with two gear selector linkage bars for use depending on where the pegs were fitted.
Out of interest, I ditched the electronic brake light switch in favour of a Goodridge pressure operated swich which works much better.
The switch is basically a replacement bolt (with two wires comming out) that you use to mount the hose onto the master cylinder with.
Very trick at about £20 if I remember.
where do you get spare bits for the harris rear sets i need to bolts that hold the adjusting plate on to back plate i have rounded off the allen key slots
Well, finally got round to taking a few pics after cleaning it this afternoon I have also uploaded a video to youtube so you can hear the cans in action:
(Not sure how to embed it in the post, perhaps someone could do it for me please )
