Bet your noise will go away now.
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.

Cheers Mike

Wheel is at the motorbike shop , to pick it up tommorrow .

Never did get lubing the chain to try it,to eliminate the noise from the front end ,wont manage that till i get the rear wheel back on.

Just wondering if the low p.s.i on front tyre would make the noise i described earlier :?:

Hopefull i'll get to the bottom of it tommorra

Sorry too hear about your tyre problem Stevie :!:
Very annoying indeed. I guess the main thing is you found the problem before anything worse happened :!:

Chain cleaned and lubed and adjusted a wee bit ,rear tyre repaired, both tyres at correct pressure, still gettin noise from front end :!:

Done wat Timbo said, took a screwdriver and parted the front pads at side of road, then freewheeled from kinda 40mph to a standstill , 80% of the noise went away :? Tried it again n again just to make sure.

Deffo somethin to do with the discs/pads , yet none binding, can freewheel for ages :!:

I'll just put up wae it :!:

Tim,
before my run on sunday,i took calipers off and pads out ,im 90% certain a small bit of grit fell out, i heard something but couldnt find it :!:
Anyway ,pads were a bit glazed ,so i roughed em up a bit ,with scotchbrite.
Done around 240miles on Sunday and never heard the noise at all :)

Cheers
