Last summer I managed to conquer the technique of how to change up gear without the clutch and this year I finally managed to master how to blip the throttle when I change down to bring the revs up

Obviously I can hear it more when I'm riding at lower speeds i.e 40-50mph changing down for a corner or roundabout.
So this is what I do when I change gear:
middle finger brake
clutch in
change gear
(cover brake with said finger) throttle twist with remaining fingers
clutch out (as smooth as I can)
so, I'm questioning my ability and trying to alter the speed/way I do the above to see if it makes a difference. I'm not sure if I don't give the throttle enough of a punch when blipping as I have slightly smaller hands than the average man
or
there is something wrong with the bike. I have replaced my Scorpion cans (that were Dyno's - stage 1) with high level MIGs, could the Dyno setting be wrong for the new cans and would it make a difference?
Have checked the air filter to see if any hoses were dislodged when I took the air filter off to change the throttle cable - seems ok.
