Might be the angle the photo's taken from,

or perhaps the shape of the headlights,

personally I think that looks a right dog!

Looks too long to me - prolly is just the angle

Gonna have to take a better look at metisse fairing pictures on web, cos I quite fancied one till I saw that picture.

Thanks for the posting - could've saved me some future money

Hi Alan,

Thankfully I'm not the only one that thinks it looks sh1t (at least from that angle) :D

Yeah, seen the sexy seat unit - TBH taken more notice of that than the fairings.

If I had the dosh I'd be looking at the sexy Italian stuff - but in GRP unless a lotto win came my way then it'd be CF

That looks like a YZF750 fairing. Thinking of changing mine but looking at cbr600rr top fairing.

Been searching my old post,s and the web and Thurn motorsport also do a fairing similar to the one above,
mettisse also do a projector twin headlight that replaces the standard storm unit plugs right in no fettling to do.

Sirch found this one posted awhile back heres the link

I came across this a while back, all sorts of goodies for firestorms, it was in a 2005 thread, looks very smart imo :!:

Almost identical to an SP1 fairing :?:

I'm reckon i will get flamed for this but i think the SP1 top fairing is really ugly. Think it looks to soft and round and kinda bug eyed. I think last years blade, R1, 916 or newer gsxr's have the best looking top fairings. They look very sharp and aggressive. :D

8O 8O You might

If everyone liked/bought the same things, the world would be a boring place :!:
Also, things change opinion wise,i really didnt like the 'storm fairing untill recently, but, somehow its kinda grew on me :!:

Would it not make more sense to trade in for an SP1 as the fairing ,plus tail unit plus paint would put the price into SP territory for sure. Saying that you would have a completely different performing bike underneath so each to their own.

Without goin back to the website, fairing and tailpiece around 600euros :?: :? ,and 'storms currently selling under a grand, sometimes a lot less with panel damage , someone could have a very individual bike for not a lot of money :!:

I like the Sp1 fairing, maybe not cutting edge, but at least its a wee bit different from most of the pack imo :!:
