Finally got round to it.......

Post by Pipstorm »

Got the bike on a Dyno on Saturday, how loud is that!, didn't like the sign "We take no responsibility for your bike", but she performed well, 110.6bhp at the wheel, full power run up to 172mph!!!!!!! with Art cans and standard filter.

It sounds much louder in a closed room!

The run home was interesting, no more backfiring, pops or bangs on the overrun, the tickover seems a little wobbly, not sure if this is down to the mains going up to 190's but overall the bike is much smoother. Don't know how it compares but I'm happy.

got my hearing back this morning!

Hi all. when you say "no more backfiring, pops or bangs", is that due to going back to a standard air filter?. I brought my Storm with a K&N, so i'am not sure if the coughing through the carbs and back firing is normal.
