Carbonadi Carbon Engine Covers

Post by JohnD »

Hey folks

Thought i'd report back on those Carbonadi engine covers I got from ebay.

http://search.stores.ebay.co.uk/carbona ... 00QQsofpZ0

They look pretty good to me... tho I never saw the ones that Rhencullen used to sell. They are pretty thick & fit well. Havn't tested them with a crash yet tho  ...however i'm sure I will test them at some point, cos I do a lot of trackdays, & i'm always getting closer to the limit !!!

Also I have a pair of SP1 / 2 ones for sale, after he sent me them by mistake to start with... rather than me send them back to him, we struck a deal so I could keep them & offer them on here. (see sales & wants section for more info on this)

cheers

Cheers John for the pic's :!: They look pretty good and if they are as well made as stated should do the job :!:

It's a pity (as someone else mentioned) they don't make them with the holes in for gaining access to the timing marks. They probably keep the price down by doing them this way and think if someone wants holes the customer can do that before fitting them.

I've got some high temperature silicone sealant that I used for the rocker cover gasket. That'll probably do it! Thanks for the advice. :D :D
