getting there, engine is in frame, only some peripherals waiting for mount, Thursday is the day, hopefully I will manage to get it to my garage on two wheels.

After first 60 km, I can say that up to 6k rpm, bike is pulling strong and with no flat spot. It is great, because I know base carb setup is good and I have good starting point. I expected cams and ported heads result in weak low end grunt, but fortunately not, it is running like never before.
Tomorrow I will do another 400-500 km and change the oil.
Base setup is:
std airbox with paper filter and Dr Honda Stacks
plugged one oem slide hole on each carb
182 185 jets
FactoryPro Ti needles - front in the middle, rear one slot richer
48 pilots - 2.25 and 2.5 turns

Glad to hear it's running well!
Looking forward to dyno report.
Can you post a pic of the way that you mounted the electric water pump.
I am curious as to how you did it.
When I did mine I fitted a new mechanical seal and left the impeller in place.
Over 2 years down the track and the pump performs well under all conditions.
I have an on off switch for it located on one of the front fuel tank bolts.
I removed the water pump gear and chain as well as the anti rattle gear all at the same time.
Good luck, you have a very desirable bike with some fantastic mods.

Today I reached 500 km and changed the oil. Bike is running really good through whole range up to rev limiter. So good that I don't feel need for further tunning. I will go to dyno asap (actually it can take months ...) to check if there is more potential.
Ken: I took closer look on pump, and found pictures with fairing on to be useless, so I didn't take any.

just ordered Ignitech ECU unit, I should get it on dyno in a month or two.

Great news that your up and running

You jetting is almost the same as mine accept I have slightly smaller mains, !87 front and 180 rear and a BMC street filter.

I use another version of exhaust baffles, with less restriction but still reasonable sound, that helped as well. Last version of db baffles was quite restricted with bad consequences in mid range.
I have paper filter with burnie morgan, pipercross filter, bmc street filter, spare airbox lid for open airbox - to try different airbox configurations, but right now I am really tempted to just stay with std filter, it is running good enough ... I am not decided yet.

Been on dyno today and got decent 122 bhp.
I will post dyno chart when I get it, with more details.
